High Voltage Cables
The HVC cable set (A-HVC8-STD) lets you safely route voltage between experimental equipment, such as LabSmith's HVS448 high voltage power supply. Designed to safely handle the high voltage associated with the HVS448, the cables are both flexible and durable. A set includes eight color-coded cables with separate signal and ground leads.
Two styles of cables are available:
- Current Limiting cables include a 10kΩ resistor to protect equipment from excessive voltage and shorts.
- High Current cables for applications in which the voltage drop cannot be tolerated.
Cable Set Lengths
HVC cable sets are available in two lengths:

Microclips
Microclips (A-MC8-01) connect easily to HVS cables and are ordered separately. Warning: Clips are not voltage rated and should not be touched during operation. See Safety Sheet for more information.

LabSmith platinum electrode wire (A-PT-ELECTRODE) fits directly into LabSmith High-Voltage Cables and LabSmith MicroClips. 23-gauge, 0.584 mm diameter wire.
