Kirsten Pace is co-founder of LabSmith and
has been instrumental in developing its approach to time-saving
equipment for research experimentation. Prior to becoming
president she held lead roles in design engineering, manufacturing
engineering, and product sales. She also
co-invented the patent for the SVM Synchronized
Video Microscope.
Ms. Pace began her career
at Aerospace Corporation where she
designed solid rocket motors and analyzed pre-flight readiness
of rockets for the United States Air Force. She later became a Senior
Member of the Technical Staff at the Emerging Technology Department
of Sandia National Laboratories. At the National Labs Ms.
Pace helped engineer systems for non-proliferation of weapons and
was project manager for the development of batch super-critical
water oxidation technology.
Ms. Pace earned both
her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Penn State University.
